Saturday!

He (CBS Sportsline) got that right! But what is little known is that Omar is the guiding force behind the Mays Field movement. It's so little known that Omar doesn't know it. But the total coolness of his game is our inspiration. That's baseball. Willie Mays is baseball. SBC Park is dreck.
Ok, now down to cases. There's been a lot of progress behind the scenes in the last few weeks. We have a bank account. We've dealt with a blizzard of paperwork equivalent to Manitoba in a bad winter. We have printed up some cool t-shirts which we can hawk for some bucks (the ones from Cafe Press don't make us any money.). We are saving for our biplane and banner. The season has finally started. It's all good.
It's especially good that we're going to party at the Brickhouse this Saturday. The tube will be on, the micros (for those wearing their Mays Field garb, naturellement) are $2, garb on sale, bumper stickers on sale, Mays Fielders at the game will be talking it up for the apres-game crowd. We need about 4K for our fly-by and Saturday is our first stab at staking a hunk of it.
The big gap...the only gap...in our plan so clever you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel (as the Black Adder would say) is that we need some signage. We need to have some visuals that inspire drinkers with the vision of the biplane dragging the banner. We need an aesthetic. Anyone want to help on this?
This is going to be a fun Saturday. See you at the Brickhouse.
