I took these photos of my nephew, Cory Goff, at his ballgames in Florida last month. He is 9 years old. His Red Sox team is made up of 10 & under kids and at last count were 13-0. Cory plays left field, 1st base and pitches on occasion. He is a southpaw and bats right. His team is going to the playoffs which are being held this month. His uncle is justifiably proud. Cory is well-versed in Mays Field lore and learned to read by studying Giants box scores. He knows who is the greatest centerfielder in history.
