Back in April Richard Van Zandt had a great article at Baseball Evolution proposing that the Giants stadium be renamed...Willie Mays Field at AT&T Park.
Outstanding idea. We couldn't agree more.
Definitely check out Rich's article--he makes a passionate argument for honoring Willie Mays, but also provides a thoughtful rationale for the name change that takes into account financial reality.
